Hyundai targets 610 sales outlets, 625 workshops by December 2010

Constantly striving to improve its after-sales service offerings to its loyal customers in India, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on Thursday reached another milestone with its 300th dealership starting operations in Karur, Tamil Nadu. Starting with 59 state-of-the-art world class dealerships in 1998, the company is likely to achieve its aggressive target of a 320 strong dealership network by the end of 2010.
In addition to its 300 dealerships, HMIL has an additional network of 112 sales outlets along with 130 Hyundai Advantage dealers which is the company's pre-owned car business. All these combined together gives HMIL unmatched access to customers with 542 touch points in 290 cities across the country.

Speaking on the expansion drive, H. W. Park, MD & CEO, HMIL, said, "With a growing customer base and increase in our product portfolio we need to access more and more customers and to achieve this we set up an aggressive program to increase our sales and service network. We will continue with this expansion plan to reach out to new markets catering to the ever increasing demand for our products.
